Published Comedy Novel

If you’re a publisher or a witty published author, we are indecently keen to read your comedy novel. It needs to be published between 15th October 2022 and 23rd May 2025 to make it eligible for CWIP 2025. From entry to longlist, to shortlist, to winner’s party, your witty novel is urgently needed for laughter purposes.

The Published Comedy Novel winner gets a massive amount of love from clever, celebrity judges and a stonking cash prize.

Self-Published Comedy Novel

If you are self-published/hybrid-published author who has had the wherewithal and autonomy to go solo - we really salute you and would love you to submit your self-published / hybrid-published witty novel - published between 24 May 2023 and 23 May 2025 to make it eligible for CWIP 2025. We love your empowered way of getting witty words out there.

The Self-Published / Hybrid Published Comedy Novel winner receives a publicity package from Atmosphere Press a selective ethics-forward hybrid publisher - equalling the value of over £2500.

Unpublished Comedy Novel

If you’re a witty author whose manuscript is waiting to be tweaked, written, finished or discreetly disinfected - we want to hear from you. The rewards are huge, and the risk is nil. It doesn’t matter when you wrote it, if your work has the potential to make the reader incapacitated with hysteria, we need to read it. We’d love a few thousand words from you first, and then for you to be ready with the actual manuscript.

The Unpublished Comedy Novel winner is published by Hera Books and receives huge attention. Runners up win either a place on an MA in Comedy Writing or writing mentorship from Falmouth University, a place on an MA by Research in Creative Writing or writing mentorship from the University of Hertfordshire, or a Platinum Package from Fuzzy Flamingo.
